Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

—Marianne Williamson

Taken from a passage from Williamson's book, A Return to Love.

Ed : Indeed, let us shine like the stars in the universe... Let not not be ashamed of our identity, our own strengths and abilities and use it to bless and serve others.

Coincidence or Predestined

I dreant of the person in my sleep and I met the person while walking on the street on the same night.

Is that a sign? Or is that just pure coincidence?

I really dont know. Only God knows

Once upon a school

I wonder if my school would support a similiar initaitve?

Opening up our school premises and getting volunteers/parents to spend one hour a day tutoring our students.

I acknowledge that there are challenges and issues regarding safety and other matters, but will the school consider it in the first place?

Home- A movie by Yann Arthus-Bertrand

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.

For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.

HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand

PPR is proud to support HOME

Talk by Billy Graham

Speaking at TED in 1998, Rev. Billy Graham marvels at technology's power to improve lives and change the world -- but says the end of evil, suffering and death will come only after the world accepts Christ. A legendary talk from TED's archives.
