My strength in leadership?

Edmund's Strengths in Leadership:

INFLUENCING

Leading and influencing others is something that comes easier for others, but you are willing to step up to the role when no one else volunteers. You prefer an association with a strong leader who has the same goals and values that you do.

DIRECTING

You probably just met another deadline and the work you directed is of the highest quality. You take a lot of pride in your ability to make sure things get done. Take some personal time with someone who is important to you. Show the team a personal side of yourself that they may not often see. It will actually help you accomplish things more easily than if you do not take the time to build relationships.

PROCESSING

You are probably overloaded with work because you hate to delegate; you tend to do most things yourself. You believe that for something to be done right, you need to do it. Train others around you to work to your own high standards and delegate to them. Although it may take longer initially, you will be helping others to achieve and grow more. Be willing to accept change and understand it may be necessary for growth and security.

DETAILING

You need to live life and be more spontaneous in things you do. You tend to over-analyze details to the point of not doing anything at all about the situation. You tend to always be operating under the "Ready, Ready, Ready" approach. Try "Ready, Aim, Fire!" Decide to do something fun and spontaneous, make a new friend or go somewhere new and exciting.

CREATING

You are very unique in that you have the combination of tremendous people skills and orientation to detail. You can articulate well in many different areas. You use your communication skills to make sure that each area of a project will get done in the proper order and manner. High quality work is a standard you maintain in all you do.

PERSISTING

Others like working together with you because you typically do more than you share of whatever is required, and this makes the entire team look good You will maintain a hands on approach and let others visibly see that you are a team player.

RELATING

Your popularity may be declining because others do not see you following through on what you say you will do. Others may see you as disorganized and too spontaneous. You talk the talk, but do you walk the walk? Make sure you do not promise or volunteer for more things than you can easily expect to complete.
